The season finale, as customary, was played against Nuthurst CC. A time game, where CYPOS lost the toss and was put in to bat first. With 193 (for 8 dec) on the board, CYPOS fancied its chances to try and clinch the game, especially when Nuthurst star batsmen, who usually make a dent in the chase, were hole out. This left the Nuthurst CC lower middle order batters to face quite a difficult period out in the middle to negotiate a draw - this they did convincingly. |

| The match was played very much within the Spirit of the Game. Even the sun came out at the end to bid adieu to the season. As always, both teams headed out to the local pub to have a good catch up and discuss the game, in fact, discuss the whole season. | |||||||||
